Live Jazz & Blues

A few of us here at Les Alpes are jazz & blues afficionados. We have been talking a lot about how frustrating it is to live in such a lively and international town that yet does not have any venues to listen to this type of music.

So, instead of keeping on complaining and wishing on things to happen, we have decided to do something about it and make Les Alpes THE venue to come and listen to Jazz & Blues.

Jessie Coutts & Mathurin Molgat.

Back by popular demand, sexy songstress Jessie Coutts will be singing again this Friday from 7pm. She will be accompanied by her partner Mathurin on the guitar.

Jessie spent her childhood singing to the winds of New Zealand's rugged Southland coast. Her writing style is personal, full of imagery and is carried by her soothing, floating melodies.

Guitarist and co-writer Mathurin Molgat has an angular take on his world and his songs are vignettes of a vagabond soul.
